Bible Reading: Jer. 32:1-8
Text: Jer. 32:4
And Zedekiah king of Judah shall not escape out of the hand of the Chaldeans, but shall surely be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon, and shall speak with him mouth to mouth, and his eyes shall behold his eyes.
The best of men are still men at the very best. As long as we are still in the flesh, separated form our glorious body that is with the Lord, there will always be the need to for improvement in our character and conduct.
We will always have the need to recalibrate and realign our hearts and purpose with his perfect plan and purpose for our lives.
That is why Scripture says, as we behold him, we are constantly being changed from on level of glory to another.
It should always get better with us as long as we keep looking unto Jesus the perfect example. The more of him we see, the more better we are able to see our faults and weaknesses.
That is why he encourages us to first take out the log in our eyes before we point to the speck in the eye of our neighbors.
There is much more that God wants to make of our lives, but we must never cease to look on him and work on ourselves. Till we become what we see in Christ.
Let Us Pray.
1. Thank you oh Lord for your loving corrective measure through grace over my life.
2. Oh lord My Father, help my decision and determination to suit your will and glory for my life.
3. Thank Lord for an answered prayer.
