When Prayer Seems Unanswered, Pt.2

Bible Reading: Dan. 10:11-21

Text: Dan. 10:13

But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.

Daniel was not the only person praying for the freedom of the Jews under the leadership of the king of Babylon but several of them got discouraged because the answer to their prayer was delayed.

This continued for several days, weeks, months and years. Some even gathered together as the custom of the Jews was and prayed to the Lord, but the same thing happened and this made everyone to become totally discouraged.

Yet no one knew why their deliverance was delayed. God had told them how long they would stay in captivity but now they were staying longer and it looked like God had abandoned them and changed his mind concerning his promise.

Daniel read through these prophetic records and determined to pray until he got a response from heaven. It was on the twenty first day that he discovered the demon called “Prince of Persia” was the one delaying the answer to their prayer.

Daniel persisted and was never discouraged or dismayed.

If you are discouraged because of delay in manifestation this will automatically turn you to a loser.

You must never lose any of your earthly or heavenly crowns.

Let Us Pray.
1. Thank you oh Lord for this divine wake up call.

2. Oh Lord My Father, let there be a stop to the delay of your glory in my life today.

3. Thank you for answered prayers oh Lord.
