Divine Direction, Pt.2

Bible Reading: Acts.9:1-17

Text: Acts.9:6

And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.

If you cannot  be ordered, you can’t be successful.

When Jesus said except a man be born of the Spirit he cannot enter the kingdom of God, he summarised in a simple sentence what it takes to experience a life of heaven on earth.

The essence of the born again experience itself is so that the spirit that is in man can be open to God again. When that has happened then the man is reconnected to the control tower in heaven.

This is important because except heaven can direct what goes on in a man, it is eternally impossible for such man to enter into what God has for him.
If heaven cannot direct your life then your life will be directed by the activities of hell. It is as simple as that. There is no need to be diplomatic about it.

There are only two trees in the center of the garden, the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. You cannot have a third one.
You either feed on the tree of life or you let your life be ruled by the basic knowledge of the earth. It is a choice.

From the moment God intercepted Saul’s journey, he let go the control of his life to the one he called Lord. And that is something that is unpopular in this generation, we only call Him Lord but we don’t care what He says.
No man can fulfill his destiny on earth without being led by God. As a matter of fact, scriptures say it is only those who are led this way that are the sons of God.

Many wallow in the dilemma of what to do and how to go about doing it. Most times, it is a struggle to chose between two seemingly good option that keep people stagnant in life.

Bishop David Oyedepo was ordered by the Lord to move from Lagos to Otta. It was an insane decision to any normal man but the result spoke the truth of the direction today.

Pastor E.A. Adeboye was ordered into the wilderness that has turned into a city today because he was under the leading instruction of the Lord.

Kenneth Copeland was ordered to preach the gospel but was busy arranging chairs in a very big hall and came out frustrated, until he began to go in the direction of the Lord.

Whoever or whatever that is leading you will definitely determine the outcome of your life.

Let Us Pray.
1. Thank you for the grace of your direction over my life.

2. Oh Lord God, Help me to obey you all the days of my life.

3. Thank you for answered prayers oh Lord.
