Grooming.

Bible Reading: Ex.2:1-5

Text: Ex. 2:2

Scripture:

And the woman conceived, and bare a son: and when she saw him that he was a goodly child, she hid him three months.

Message:

God is not a magician. Even though scriptures say ask and you will be given, if it is from God you’re asking, he wouldn’t give you anything he hasn’t qualified you for. And by qualifying you, I mean, he would have prepared you adequately for the thing.

If he doesn’t prepare you for it, the answer to your prayer might even destroy your life.

Moses passed through several hands to be trained and made fit for the call of God for his life. He started life outside the care of his biological parents. He was trained by a godmother. Even though he was well cared for, he experienced first-hand what it means to be raised by other peoples’ parents.

He passed through several leadership principles under different people of his time that had been designed by the Lord to groom him for the fulfilment of the purpose of God for him.

There is always a reason for all things in life,  they are either to correct or to stabilize your move on the path to your place of glory in destiny.
Moses took two courses of leadership under the tutelage of his father-in-law which if he had failed to pass through, he would have lost his glorious destiny to another person.

Grooming is the process of being made ready for greatness in life.
Several people want to handle what they have not been graced for or given the capacity to manage. That something is good, does not mean it would be a blessing to you.

Some people want bigger responsibilities, church enlargement, business expansion and many other seemingly good things,  but are not ready for the training and the sacrifice for their utmost desires. This is why some so called breakthroughs are disasters that should never have been desired.

Net-breaking and boat-sinking breakthroughs, without Jesus being in the boat, will only get you drowned. Eventually, you lose the catch, you lose the net, you lose the boat and you also end up at the bottom of the sea.
God wants to make you before he puts things in your hands, will you let him?

Let Us Pray.

1. Thank you oh Lord for your understanding and upbringing over my life.

2. Oh Lord God, help me to understand your precepts and expose me to dealing that will bud and prepare me for my destiny.

3. Thank you for answered prayers oh Lord.
