Winning the Battles, Pt.1

Bible Reading: Josh.6:1-20

Text: Josh.6:20

So the people shouted when the priests blew with the trumpets: and it came to pass, when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city.

It is true that believers are fighting a winning battle because the greatest of all battles had be won by the Lord on the cross of Calvary.

He opened the sealed upon the book that holds the instructions on how winning the battles of life, and that has made winning an easy task for the children of God.

Even the Israelites in their days, despite the fact that they didn’t have our kinds of privilege had to follow the dictates of the Lord handed down through Moses, the servant of the Lord who led them.
Being saved is not enough to win the array of wars against the programmed blessing of God.

The Lord has committed every individual in the body of Christ to be responsible for whatsoever they desire by paying right price for it.
The world is full of the hosts of darkness whose aim is to deal with the children of God by cheating, robbing and denying them of their right to the place of their manifestation.

You must reckon yourself as being in a battle for your destiny, lest by a nonchalant attitude and through a lifestyle of irresponsibility and indiscipline you let slip away from you a victory that has already been won for you.

There are arrays of battles set against you, but your part of the deal is to put on the whole armour of God (and I hope you them all) and do as the Lord, the Captain of the host of heaven bids you.

The battle has been won, God knows it, hell knows. Even though he will not believe it, you must also know the truth and let your lifestyle attest to it.

Conquerors don’t live anyhow.

Let Us Pray.

1. Thank you oh Lord for an assured victory over the battles of my life.

2. Oh Lord God, grant me the right strength per time to defeat the craftiness of the devil over my life.

3. Thank you for answered prayers oh Lord.
