Bible Reading: Ex.12:1-12

Text: Ex.12:12

Scripture:

For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the LORD.

Message:

It is always wise to wait for God.However, that is one thing that is very different man to do.

Naturally, when we see a problem our quickly goes to think about how best to tackle it and our body at the same time begins to move in that direction.
But if we are not carefully, we would end up wrecking what God is doing with our lives.

Moses was smart enough to know that the arm of flesh would not bring deliverance to his people. Otherwise, he would have come up with a committee that will think through the best strategies for them to use. He could have even raised an army to do the job. And they would all have failed.

That’s why you must not be too fast to make a move if God has not commanded it. Reporting your adversary to the Lord all the time does not make you a coward. It gives you the edge and strength you need to overcome the threat of the enemy over your life, marriage, ministry, family, etc.

Israel would have remained under the slavery of Egypt till date even though the time had riped for the ordained freedom of God for their life but the wisdom of God in the life of Moses by allowing the will of God to prevail against self defence gave the nation and the people an accorded victory of the Lord at an appointed time.

Let Us Pray.

1. Thank you oh Lord for your grace upon my life.

2. Oh Lord God, direct my steps.

3. Thank you for answered prayers oh Lord.
