Bible Reading: Song of Solomon 1:5-6
Text: Song of Solomon 1:6
Look not upon me, because I am black, because the sun hath looked upon me: my mother’s children were angry with me; they made me the keeper of the vineyards; but mine own vineyard have I not kept.
Wisdom demands you to be conscious of God’s intimate decision about your action, work and interests in life. It is good does not means you are created for it.
Larger number of the people in the kingdom of God are doing thing to please their superior and be the choice of man because of their respective predominant dividend, what still keeping some people on that same spot without observing the gauge of the lord interest as regard the task in that office, school, community, public places etc; is mainly centred on what they are simply deriving from it and the opinion of others.
So many people today are doing the will of self thinking they are doing the will of God; not all good enterprises are profitable in God’s view or an admonished task of God to man. Being in the right place to function for God is totally different from doing the will of God for an ascertained testimony of His in that same place.
As one of the saints and worker in the vineyard, you must be sure of what you are busy using your strength on in the house of the lord even in your owned life.
There are many zealous personalities in the body of Christ today that are doing what seem good and acceptable to people but neglect their true task unattended to.
Let Us Pray.
1. Thank you oh lord for your strength in me to accomplish your will.
2. Oh lord God, be the determinant of what I must be doing per time in your kingdom and in my life.
3. Thank you oh lord for an answered prayers.
