Who is Your Friend? Cont.

Bible Reading: 1Sam.19:4-5

Text: 1Sam. 19:4

And Jonathan spake good of David unto Saul his father, and said unto him, Let not the king sin against his servant, against David; because he hath not sinned against thee, and because his works have been to thee ward very good.

Jonathan should be more consigned about his father opinion and the throne because he was his father’ heir which is much more important to Saul and will continually put his family on the forefront of leadership in the Nation.

Jonathan never acted in proportional to his family privileges against his relationship with David. Saul wouldn’t have stressed himself before David is harm if Jonathan was in support of his decision against him.

He valued his friendship relationship with David and was never for one time rude to his father because of this but make his father to see a brighter sides of his friend’ life also reminded him of his contributions to the Nation (Isreal) and his ruling dynasty.

He was not party to any wickedness against David; always wanted to contributes positively to his life and see him being protected amidst the thorn of life including his father.

One of the critical value of a precious and good hearted personality is not forgetting the interest of others and positive approaches to friends and relative; such individual lives a balance life between his friends and family.

Let Us Pray.

1. Thank you oh lord for being the best friend to all in the kingdom and the society.

2. Oh lord God, purge me off unacceptable character in my relationship with people.

3. Thank you for an answered prayers oh Lord.
