But Saul and the people spared Agag, and the best of the sheep, and of the oxen, and of the fatlings, and the lambs, and all that was good, and would not utterly destroy them: but every thing that was vile and refuse, that they destroyed utterly.

Message.

The Ancient Fathers are really ancient indeed, want to please the lord without minding the consequences and the result thereafter.

They are known for what is acceptable, kingdom oriented and truth of the Lord. The fathers are not sent or answerable only to the matter in the church or consigning the family of the priests alone but also representing the Lord on any matter that consigning the nation and her development.

The father’s appearance in the king’s palace or nation’s square center is likening to the presence of the Lord amidst his people and everybody are ready to hear and act accordingly as regard any given instructions.

Fathers are not men pleasers.

As strong as Saul was as a king; he was always very careful at the appearance of the Samuel because he known he is not here to influence the government of the nation or for the favour of the king but as the representative of the God.

Samuel was not at anytime diplomatic with any instructions given by God to any personality even the king; he is always on course to please his sender, never for one time used his privilege to initiates or influence his personal cause or interest.

He never intimidated anybody or any nation with his position for any reason. He was duly respected by all and  naturally honour without his word or action call for it.

He told Saul the blunt truth of his life and consequences of his wrong action toward the will of God was also not withdraw from him without fear or favour.

Fathers are honourable personality of all time.

Let Us Pray:

1. Oh lord God, thank you for the life of the fathers.

2. Oh lord God, destroy every  related idols in the heart of our fathers for them to be able to please you with their lives and ministry.

3. Thank you for an answered prayers oh lord.
